Happy Birthday Treats

It's my birthday today. I know, it is not a Wednesday, but I worked yesterday in exchange to today's whole day off. Aside from I-am-still-sick-with-a-cold, and I need a break from wearing a mask, I deserve a day off on my day. That is why I am late posting in ABC Wednesday.

Here are my Hs this week.

  1. My teen daughter gave a bag of gifts with Hostess donuts, Hershey's candy, Half and Half Iced tea, a Happy Birthday balloon, and a Happy Birthday card. Paul gave me flowers and a box of chocolates. There is an h in chocolates, so it counts.
  2. H is for ham. I am still enjoying the $6 half-ham I bought from Costco.
  3. My dryer broke so I have to add that I have to hang my clothes these days. Thanks for the rack that I kept from a long time ago. I thought I donated it.
  4. Speaking of donation, and enough about me, since yesterday was the beginning of Lent, I decided to do something different and declutter my home and collect some bags of things to donate. I am giving up stuff that other people can still use and donating them to my favorite group Vietnam Vets. Talk about dual purpose act--cleaning my home and helping the vets. Now that will make me happy.

    1. So far, it is warm enough, I do not need a dryer yet. Air drying seems the fabrics last longer, yes.
